OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AUDIT
An occupational safety audit is an independent review of occupational and industrial safety at an enterprise. It determines whether company policies and procedures comply with Ukrainian law and sound safety practice – in other words, whether documentation, training, equipment, premises, protective equipment and related arrangements are in order.
Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine On Labour Protection
requires employers to conduct an occupational safety audit.
An occupational safety audit is not an enforcement measure. Its purpose is to establish the actual occupational safety conditions at the enterprise objectively and impartially.
The procedure identifies weaknesses in arrangements for protecting life and health, helps prevent risks and prepares the enterprise for inspections by regulatory authorities.
Occupational safety conditions may be reviewed using different methods and at different levels of depth. The final cost and timing depend directly on the objectives that the audit must address.
Following the audit, you receive a written report identifying non-conformities and providing recommendations for corrective measures to eliminate deficiencies and improve occupational and industrial safety at the enterprise.
We also audit occupational safety arrangements for the registration of declarations confirming that an employer’s facilities and equipment comply with occupational and industrial safety legislation.
